So decided to head out to the park today for the annual fright fest visit, had fun at the park, but I really must say, the decorations and Halloween look, is really slim. I never take fright fest for more than a regular visit to the park, with some decorations.
and I really think they skimmed on the decorations this year, it may just be me, but it really wasn't too Halloween-ish.
I did go through the Haunted house, I like the corn maze at the beginning, and the house was fine. I still think they need to have the 3-D glasses for it, considering that its made for 3D glasses, was it worth 5 bucks? sure.
I didn't see too many "ghouls" either, I saw a group of clowns but they were busy talking to each other instead of scaring the guests, but at least the couple I saw at the front gates were interacting with the crowds.
The lines weren't too bad today, longest wait was for Mr. Freeze but they were having some difficulties and it was soon repaired and up and running.
The 2 rides I took on the Eagle today were both great rides, first ride we did the front seat, and that was a rather chilly ride, the last one of the night at like 730 was insane! as much as I would love to see the lights back on the Eagle, I still feel a ride on the Eagle at night without lights is ALWAYS a great ride!
overall it was a really fun visit today but I will say this, if your going out for fright fest, don't take it for anything more than another visit to the park or you will be disappointed.

I was at the park as well today, the rides seemed to be running pretty well today. Fright Fest was very disappointing. There were only a few ghouls, the theming just seemed to be tomb stones, spider webs, music at night and red lights. I saw the same thing with the clowns too. To me, it was just a regular visit to the park, I didn't hit up the haunted house or hay ride today. And for some reason, I JUST found the Twisted Twins trains.

The Eagle and the Boss are always the best when ridden in the dark.

i went the last two weekends and there was trolls and shrubbery man under the arbors, zombies and skeliton man in dc comics area and clowns by the hannibarrels an a grave digger guy running around w a shovel by the entrance....and a few random gouls by batman entrance...maybe it was a under staffed day, i ran in today just to get my pass processed and there was like a wolf w a halooween costume, and a ladybug, seemed more kid friendly then what i saw last week... decorations are still better than last year i think...

Hello! The kid-friendly people you saw are there in the mornings on Saturday/Sunday until about 4:30pm or so. They go away once the zombies and other scarier people come out at night :-)

Sorry, But just for the heads up, they are underneath Batman's station, near the flash pass queue path, at the far end. You can see them too at the outside path near the exit.
EDIT: Hmmm, I guess that's already been stated in another topic.
