Shazam was originally located in the USA section of the park where the Ninja coaster now stands.
- The ride opened in 1972 as the Space Scramble and in 1986 the name was changed to the "U.S. Express", the ride was moved to the Spain section of the park and the name was changed to "El Toro Bravo" in 1988.
- In 1997 the name was changed to its current one of Shazam.
